Our Story

Orange Gecko Art Network Inc aims to bring together local emerging, mid-career and established artists across all artistic disciplines. To foster the strong artistic outcomes that stem from a close and aspirational art community.

Whether artists, artisans and makers come together through residencies, collectives, galleries or studios, having the space to experiment while critically engaging with peers in an open and supportive environment is crucial to the creative journey. Creative communities give a sense of belonging as they build knowledge, reciprocity and give meaning to the word “community”.  We want to promote and facilitate the continuing development of professional emerging and established visual artists in and from the George Town and Tamar Valley Region.

Achieving our vision through:

Promoting local artists and their artworks. Facilitating ongoing Professional Development opportunities.
